• A series LCR circuit has capacitor 0.2 uF and inductor of 8 mH. Find its resonance frequency. (March 2011)
• An alternating e.m.f. e = 220 sin (120 πt) volt is applied to a bulb of resistance 110 ohm. Find peak value, effective value, frequency and period of alternating current through bulb. (March 2012)
• A capacitor of 25 uF, inductor of 0.1 H and a resistor of resistance 25 ohm are connected in series with an a.c source of an e.m.f, e =310 sin (314t) volt. What is the
i. inductive reactance
ii. capacitive reactance
iii. impedance and
iv. current in the circuit? (March 2013)
• An a.c circuit consists of inductor of 125 mH connected in parallel with a capacitor of 50 uF. Determine resonant frequency. (Oct 2014)
